New Username

Hey guys! I decided that after nine long years (I know! That's such a long freaking time), that I needed to change my username. I am now Night--Writer. It feels nice since I was fourteen years old when I made my old username. I am now twenty-three, so it's time for a change.

I also know that I haven't been keeping up with my writing like I said I would. I hope now that all changes now that school is over for the semester. I have a lot of ideas I want to work on and hopefully work on some biographies for this upcoming NaNo in November.

I feel so utterly terrible when I only update this thing once a year.

So, if anyone guessed, I was part of NaNoWriMo again. I can't believe it's been four years since I've been doing it. The thing that sucks is that I get such a writer's block afterwards. I took a month off from writing and all of a sudden, I get all this inspiration. I decided that I was going to start using this account more and post some of my writing every day. Keep the creative juices flowing. :)

Been to long

Hello guys! I feel horrible for never updating this thing and even worse for not posting anything. Nothing really happened since my last entry almost a year ago except for school and work. I quit my job at the temp. agency back in May and I now work at Burger King. I don't care what you say, I have a job and it helps me pay for school and other things. I met some awesome people working there and I have a new appreciation for things.

This past November, I took part in NaNoWriMo again and I won for the third year in a row. I gotta say that part of my success was due to Write or Die. Without it, I don't know how I would of made it. I got past 50k but I still have yet to finish my novel. I've been in such a writing slump lately, I really haven't been able to write. I wrote a nice piece (in my humble opioion) about some rp characters from a Star Wars roleplay I was part of. The person who played the other character in my story really enjoyed it and I was really glad.

Well, I hope to be updating this thing shortly or something. I promise.

Been A While

This is one of the numerous attempts of trying to update this journal. Since my last journal entry, I started and completed my fall semester of college. It went well and I made some good friends out of the classes. I seriously thought I was going to fail some of my classes but amazingly, I didn't. I thought my biology class was going to be close but I passed with a B! :woohoo:

This past November was the second year in a row that I took part in NaNoWriMo and it was nice because my best friend, :iconadmirallee01: took part in it and we went to all the write ins, Kick Off party and Thank God It's Over party. It was fun because I had someone to share the pain of writing a novel. This year, I wrote my second novel. I'm not sure if I'm going to post it because I still have tons of editing to do. I'm not even done with editing last year's yet. :shh:

This semester is going alright so far. School has been canceled because of all this snow we got. It was so damn crazy! I'm sick of the snow and I'm thankful that spring is coming early. :boogie: Christmas came and went, obviously. I got a car, which is pretty exciting. I will have to post a picture of it soon!

I also decided I'm going to take up beta reading. I've editing my friend's stories and that's pretty much it. I decided to do it on my FictionPress account (www.fictionpress.com/~CommanderKilljoy) and I'm probably going to do it on my FF.net account too. I just need more stories, lol.

So yesterday was International My Chemical Romance Day. It was a good day. I wore my favorite MCR shirt and only wore it for a little bit since the humidity was getting a bit high. I was taking part of a chat and showing of Life on the Murder Scene held by :iconterasart:, who did an awesome job! Way to go Bobbi!

I remember seeing My Chemical Romance one morning while I was getting ready for school. I saw Helena on MTV and I was like 'Damn, that's awesome!' I bought the first two CDs before I went on my cruise in ninth grade. After my mom died, I remember listening to them and it helped me through a lot. I would blare Revenge on my stereo and just rocking out to it. I used to print out pictures of the band and put them in my binders at school and hang picture up in my locker. Sometimes there would be fighting here at my house and I would put in my headphones and go through my iPod to find them. That band would get me through the fights and more. My sophomore year in high school, I got the cupid hoodie and I wore it everyday to school and then on Fridays, I would wash it. They inspired me so much, I came up with Revenge Frankie custom and wore it for two Halloweens (not in a row.) I'm not like those crazy fans who have a wall of posters just dedicated to them. I have a few small ones from magazines but that's about it. But I thank you, My Chemical Romance, for everything. =)
